Our promises
We're a small team making books with photos of children, using AI tools. That asks a lot of your trust, so here is what we promise, and how you can check each one for yourself. These are our own promises, not badges from anyone else.

A person checks every book before it's printed
After you pay, one of us looks at every page of your book before it goes to the printer. If a picture isn't right, we draw it again.
Your photos are deleted 7 days after we approve your book
We use your photos only to make your book. They're deleted 7 days after we approve your book, or 30 days after your last visit if you don't finish. You can delete everything sooner from your account.
Your photos never train AI
We never let anyone train AI tools on your photos or your book, and we never use your child or your book in our marketing.
We say plainly where we use AI
The pictures are made with AI tools, and AI tools help fit the story to your child. We say so on every page that shows a picture, and we explain exactly how, including where our style comes from.
Read it before you pay
You see the drawings of your child and their toy, read the whole story and see 4 sample pages before you pay anything.
If anything's wrong, we put it right
If your book arrives damaged, lost, with a printing fault, or different from what you approved, we reprint it or refund you. Your legal rights are not affected.
Soft colours, and no neon
We think stories for young children shouldn't be loud. Our pictures use four soft washes on warm off-white paper, with no neon colour, and every page's colour is measured.
What we're working towards
We're new and small, so we haven't earned any outside badges yet. These are the ones we're working towards. We'll only show a badge here once we've actually been given it.
- Registering with the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data protection regulator, and showing our registration number.
- Adding Content Credentials to our pictures: the industry standard label that shows a picture was made with AI.
- Signing the EU AI Pact, the European Commission's voluntary pledge on using AI responsibly.
- Inviting every family to review us the same way, and publishing every review, good or bad.
- Cyber Essentials, the UK government-backed certificate for keeping data safe.
- Later, ISO/IEC 42001, the international standard for managing AI responsibly.
